Service: potential analysis

POTENTIAL ANALYSIS AND SPATIAL DESIGN

At the beginning of each project, Visiontank carefully considers the whole context. This includes potential analysis and so much more, as all essential factors are taken into account:

• Spatial potential of the site and construction tasks.
• Needs and requirements of the involved parties.
• Economic and regulatory frameworks.

The most relevant influences are noted, the act which lays the foundation for the planning process. In the first step, the focus is on a quick and comprehensive initial formulation of the possible spatial concepts. This is meant to integrate the central influencing factors into a new whole.

VARIANT RESEARCH AND MISSION STATEMENTS

Based on the first spatial designs, Visiontank uses specially developed procedures, with the aim of to compare the most important variants and making efficient, basic, directional decisions throughout the planning process.

Visiontank then develops "guiding images" (from the German word "Leitbild") and actively uses them as instruments during each of the planning stages. A guiding image visualizes central aspects of the project in relation to the desired goals and the intended identity.

Together with a careful formulation of the order, one might say these guiding images serve as a navigation instrument for the client as the project progresses.

WORKSHOPS AND PROJECT SUPPORT

Visiontank designs and moderates workshops for those involved in the planning and construction process.

Ideally, these workshops take place during the initial project phases; however, they may occur after external inputs and new perspectives begin to affect the project.

Visiontank follows projects through architectural and design quality assurance, and supports those involved in putting together the planning teams, drafting fair contracts and implementing the ideas. The focus is on realizing the desired goals within the economic and regulatory framework.
